Elizabeth Reaser, an American actor on film, TV and stage, is most well-known for roles like The Twilight Saga as well as shows like Greys Anatomy or True Detective. Elizabeth was born in Michigan. Jessica, after reading the script of the role, knew it would be necessary to learn weaponry. She recorded her very first weapon practice lesson. Jonathan Glassner said that the stunt crew was surprised by how well Jessica did on her first day of training. This was the first time she had acted in a US major role as she has previously appeared in Australian movies. The role capitalizes on her passion for action by utilizing her mixed martial arts, horse riding weapons, as well as athletic ability that allows her to pull off her tricks and truly portray the powerful female character. She has studied boxing and muay Thai and is a member of the gym for mixed martial arts in Australia. While on set filming Season 4, Jake Stormoen was greeted by a dog that was wandering around the scene. The stray dogs had occupied the entire set. Jessica fostered at least two of these pups.
